1Ownership & Rights
Upon purchase of GTIN/UPC/EAN barcodes from UPC Market, we grant you a perpetual, non-exclusive, transferable, world-wide license to use the purchased numbers. You receive full legal ownership of the specific barcode numbers assigned to you.
Unlike GS1's subscription model where you "rent" codes annually, our codes are "grandfathered" (issued pre-2002 by the UCC) and are sold as a one-time asset. You own them forever.
2Retailer Acceptance & Limitations
Our codes work on the vast majority of global marketplaces, including Amazon, eBay, Google Shopping, iTunes, and many independent retailers.
However, specific "Big Box" retailers using EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) are restricted. You cannot use our codes for:
- Walmart (Physical Stores) - Marketplace is OK
- Kroger / Fred Meyer
- Macy's / Bloomingdale's
- Target / Home Depot / Lowe's
It is your responsibility to verify retailer requirements before purchase.
3Refunds & returns
Due to the nature of digital goods (unique identification numbers), all sales are final. Once a code is issued to you, it is marked as "Sold" and cannot be reclaimed or resold.
Refunds are only provided in verified cases of technical error (e.g., duplicate charge) or proven invalidity.

You Own It: No renewal fees, ever. The codes are yours to keep.
One Rule: Don't use them for big-box stores like Walmart or Target (they have their own strict rules).
Digital Goods: Since we can't "un-send" a code, we can't offer refunds for change of mind.
